Mor Kali

This is almost a last minute entry for Siri's Frozen Yogurt event.

I love yogurt and it's a 'must have' for me everyday. So this event got me all excited :)
My mom's mor kali is even better. Next time i goto india i am going to watch her make it and learn to make it better.

This is again a quick and easy recipe.

Ingredients :

Rice flour - 2 cups
Buttermilk - 1 cup
Salt to taste
Green chillies - 5 (finely chopped)
mustard seeds, hing and urad daal for seasoning
Cilantro for garnishing

Heat some oil in a pan. Pop mustard seeds and add hing and urad daal. Fry till urad daal turns golden brown. Add green chillies and fry for couple of minutes. Add riceflour and add salt and water and cook for some time. Add buttermilk and cook till it's done. Garnish with Cilantro.

Another method to cook this is : Mix riceflour in buttermilk and add water if required. It should be of pourable consistency. Follow the initial steps as above and after frying green chillies for couple of minutes add this batter and cook till it's done.

Tastes good with pickle or mor milagai.
