This recipe and picture are contributed by my sil Radhika. She doesn't have a food blog, so i am posting it here and i will be sending this to Srivalli's Curry Mela on her behalf.
Ingredients :
Frozen peas- 2 cups
Red chilly powder- 2 tsp (approx)
Grated coconut - 2 sp
Oil- 2 sp
Saunf - 1 sp
Soy sauce - 1 sp (optional)
Ginger - 1 inch (approx)
Tomato - 3-4
Onion-2
Cardamom -3
Turmeric powder - 1 sp
Cinnamon - 1 stick
Dalia (Pottu kadalai) - 3 sp
Cilantro - 1/2 bunch

Red chilly powder- 2 tsp (approx)

Soy sauce - 1 sp (optional)
Ginger - 1 inch (approx)
Tomato - 3-4
Onion-2
Cardamom -3
Turmeric powder - 1 sp
Cinnamon - 1 stick
Dalia (Pottu kadalai) - 3 sp
Cilantro - 1/2 bunch
Method :
In little oil saute saunf, Cinnamon and Cardamom. Grind this with coconut,cilantro, pottu kadalai, ginger and onion. Meanwhile, cook peas with little salt and keep separately. Heat little oil in a pan and pop mustard seeds. Add cut tomotos and saute till it's cooked. Add turmeric powder, ground paste and cook till the raw smell goes. Add peas along with curry leaves and red chilly powder and simmer for 2-3 mins. Finally add soy sauce if desired. Goes very well with Rotis and naan.
Note : Soak peas for 6 hours if you are using dry peas.
